Presently, TKE boasts extra chapters than any more fraternity in the globe. TKE's 5 Founders were One hundred. Roy Atkinson, Clarence Arthur Mayer, James Carson McNutt, Joseph Lorenzo Settles, & Owen Ison Truitt.

TKE was originally known as a Knights of Classic Lore sustaining the goal of establishing a fraternity in which membership is according to personalized worth & character like than rank, wealth, or even honor.
